BBC NEWS | Science/Nature | Two new moons found around Pluto

If these are confirmed to be real moons, Pluto would be the first Kuiper belt object to have a satellite. Maybe this would convince more people that Pluto indeed deserves to be called a “planet.” But then again, there are asteroids that have satellites.

Note: Pluto was definitely named a planet on 2003 (?) by the International Astronomical Union after a great debate regarding its status as a planet.
